Chaoming Zhang, Ph.D., Chairman & COO

is an engineer/scientist-turned entrepreneur. He is co-founder of Veritas Tech (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., He has written numerous papers, articles and publications. He was a reviewer of Computational Physics, and a session Chairman of many international conferences.
Dr. Zhang received his B.S. degree in mathematics and Master’s degree in engineering mechanics in China, from Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington in the United States. His studies in Washington has categorized Chaoming as one of the most respected scientific mathematicians in the world as he is a direct descendant of “Scientific Computing” pioneer, Joseph E. Oliger, world renowned professor, Stanford University.

Chaoming was an engineer-turned manager of a prominent program in Beijing Control Device Institute, one of the top research and design institutes in China’s space industry.

Up on obtaining his Ph.D. degree, Dr. Zhang became a Research Associate at Rice University, working on a U.S. Air Force grant. He developed algorithms and software to detect underground substances with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology. He also developed similar algorithms and software for application of exploring under ground resources such as oil and gas.
